Well, it's about time we started writing in our journal, so here goes...
Basta Artworks is a joint effort conducted by 2 people.
Eitan Ben-Avi, an up and coming photographer, already featured in several exhibitions here in Israel (i'll be writing about the latest one soon), and Tom Sender (yours truly) who occupies himself by trying out various art forms, photography, drawing, painting, writing and whatever else he encounters.
Tom (hence, I) does the vast majority of our pages management, be it on dA, 500px, pinterest, Facebook etc. Therefore, it will be mostly me (last reminder, Tom
) who answers comments and notes, writes on your profiles and on our journal. Feel free to substitute I, my, me with We, our, us respectively. I speak for the both of us.
As you can probably see we're new to dA and I have to mention what a warm welcome we received here. I a matter of days we have accumulated numerous friends, followers and follow-ees. Some of which we have struck a real connection with.
In the coming days, I will make it a habit to feature a new friend every so often. These will be people I encountered and struck a longer conversation than "thanks for the X" and "you're welcome".
Apart from using this site to promote and get exposure for our art (if you can call it that
) we would like to expand our acquaintance circle and be in touch with like-minded people world-wide. So don't be a stranger and drop us a line, a note, a message. whatever it is, it's welcome.

New Friend Feature: *JoeCorreia
Our new friend for today (and the first one ever
) is *JoeCorreia
. Joe was among my first acquaintances on dA and has given me the warmest of welcomes leading up to comment exchanges and chats well into the night. Joe's subject matter is diverse. From wildlife to galaxies, pure photography to manipulation, there is something in his gallery for everyone.
